Rest in peace, Alexander McQueen. You brought a show to the catwalk that indicted England for the Highland Clearances, and you made me want to wear some crazy-ass shit. And you were a blue collar kid who made his high art dreams come true. You are gone far, far too soon.
I am really sad about Alexander McQueen. It just is depressing to me. So final. Not to sound totally dumb, but that is where my mind is stuck at. I just don't understand why.
ReplyDeleteI know. Just such a waste. It sounds like he had some mental health issues for a long time, though. It is really hard to see someone who was so visionary end his life when he was really kind of at his peak.
