It was a little too hot for boots, but the shortness sort of necessitated something, I thought.
Technically, it's not lace, but mesh with embroidery. That's fine with me, though. There is an underlayer that is a very thin rayon knit that has a great drape to it. I can't wait to wear this in winter with really thick black tights!
Dress: Asos Curve Boots: J. Crew Necklace: Target, similar to this Ring: gifted, looks like this
This dress looks great on you! Like so many Asos pieces I'm sort of eeh when I see it on their website and absolutely loving it when I see it on people, in this case a hot mama.
Thanks, lovelies! Marisa, they may have this in their non-plus-size line as well, I am not sure. It is decent quality for the price! The sleeve says it's a kimono sleeve, but it seems to be somewhere in between. :)
That dress is late '60s perfect. Absolutely gorgeous. You could also wear it with some light tan-colored gladiator sandals that go up to your ankle, provided you're comfortable wearing those. I can't handle the sandal straps around my ankle, but that's just me.

ReplyDeleteWow, this is really cute--I especially like the (bell?) sleeves.

ReplyDeletePretty! Love that, love love. I am also excited for it with black tights and those same boots!
